🎯

Scope of the PCS Examination

The Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) examination is the premier gateway for commanding administrative positions across Uttar Pradesh's 75 districts.

Recruited officers spearhead developmental administration, revenue collection, law enforcement, and local policy execution, serving directly beneath IAS/IPS state cadres.

Yes, Indian citizens from any state can apply for the UPPSC PCS examination. However, candidates residing outside Uttar Pradesh will be treated under the Unreserved (General) category and cannot claim state reservation benefits.
